How to apply gold chrome nail powder:

• After the base manicure is completed, before applying Gold Chrome Pigment, apply one thin coat of nonwipe top coat, and cure for 60 seconds.
• Tip a small amount of loose powder onto your applicator tool, then rub over a cured top coat until a mirror chrome shine effect is achieved.
• Apply another layer of top coat to seal in the chrome, and cure for 60 seconds using the TGB Light the Way Nail Lamp.
• Wash hands with soap and water to remove any excess chrome powder residue.

Is the gold chrome powder metallic?

Yes, the gold chrome powder along with the other TGB Chrome Pigments are metallic. 

How many manicures can I get out of a .6 grams jar of gold chrome dip powder?

A single pot of gold chrome powder can last for seven to 10 manicures. The number of nail sets can vary depending on the length of the client’s nails and the amount used. 

Can the gold chrome dip powder be used on natural nails or tips?

Both! Gold metallic nail powder can be used on natural nails and tips. As long as the nails are prepared properly, the Chrome Pigment nail set should last for two to four weeks without chipping. 

Is the gold metallic nail powder highly pigmented?

Yes, the gold chrome nail powder is very pigmented. Although a gel polish color underneath is not necessary, you can create a variety of shades of chrome powder when experimenting with different gel colors as a base, which can result in a lighter or darker effect.

Yes, a top coat should be applied on top of the gold metallic nail powder for extra shine and protection. The top coat should be cured for about 30 seconds.

Why isn't my gold chrome powder sticking?

If the application steps were followed, and the gold metallic nail powder still isn't sticking, cut the cure time in half. Curing the top coat for less time will help it to remain tacky, making it easier for the powder to stick.

How do I remove TGB Chrome Pigment?

You can follow the removal instructions from whichever base coat and top coat you used underneath the gold chrome powder. For any TGB BIAB™, you can soak the nails in acetone to remove them.  

Is it better to apply the metallic nail powder with a sponge or a brush? 

It is better to spread the gold metallic powder with a sponge. When you buy TGB Gold Chrome Pigment, it comes with a nail sponge (applicator). You can rub the applicator with a lint-free wipe or paper towel to remove excess pigment or wash them, then save it for the next use.
