How To Apply Builder in a Bottle in Six Steps

1. Prep the Nail

Start by cleaning and shaping the natural nail. Lightly buff the nail surface with a 100/180 nail buffer for better adhesion, and shape the nail with a 220/240 nail file.

Products to use: TGB SPA Hand Towel, Lint-Free Wipes, ProPrep, 100/180 Nail Buffer

 

2. Apply Your First Layer of Builder Gel

Apply a thin, even layer of BIAB. Cure for 99 seconds on low-heat mode.

Products to use: Clear BIAB, TGB Light The Way Nail Lamp

 

3. Apply Your Second Layer of Builder Gel

Create an apex with a second BIAB layer, and cure for 99 seconds on low-heat mode.

 

4. Apply Your Third Layer of Builder Gel (Optional)

For added strength, apply a third layer of BIAB, and cure. We recommend an additional layer of builder gel for sheer colors, fuller coverage, or longer nail extensions

5. Refine Your Builder Gel Nails (Optional)

Refine the overlay with a 120/180 file or buffer to achieve a smooth surface before applying a top coat.

Products to use: 120/180 Nail File, 100/180 Nail Buffer

6. Apply Your Top Coat

Seal the nails with your preferred top coat, and cure for 60 seconds.

Products to use: Extreme Shine Top Coat, Matte Top Coat, Rubber Top 2.0, Glow Top, or Lumi Glaze and TGB Light the Way Nail Lamp

 

Can I Apply Gel Polish Over Builder Gel?
