What are aura nails? You have probably seen aura nails come up on your FYP (For You Page). It is a nail art trend featuring two different colors, typically with a darker color in the center blended out to a lighter color around the edges. They often have a hazy gradient effect that can be replicated with endless color combos, which makes it a great nail art look for any season. Some people use eyeshadows to create a hazier effect, but aura nails can easily be achieved using gel polish for the same effect.

How To Do Aura Nails
Aura nails are a great beginner nail art design to learn. It is a set that looks more complicated than it actually is, but it is super trendy right now. The essentials you will need for an aura nail look are two contrasting gel colors and a sponge.
- Start with your base coat, and cure. We recommend a builder gel in a bottle to give your set a strong base.
- Depending on the color combination, you might need to paint over your base with your first color. If you apply a neutral color as your base, use the Builder In A Bottle (BIAB™) as your first color.
- Grab your sponge, and paint your base color all around the edges of the sponge. Then take your second color, and paint a circle in the center of the sponge.
- Dab the sponge onto the nail. You may need to apply a second coat if you want a more vibrant color. Cure the nail.
- Optional: Add designs on top of your aura nails, like stars, 3D effects, gems, or hearts. The choice is yours.
- Seal with a top coat, and you are done!
